02/08/2014 In-Running Lays

2.40 Goodwood, Double Bluff is a front runner who ran a great race last week over this distance and ground against a well handicapped horse having traded at 1.51 in-running. Should lead for a long way and offer a decent back-to-lay.

5.35 Goodwood, Peterkin is another tough Mark Johnston front-runner who should get his own way upfront and allow a back-to-lay. It may be worth trying to get on Ground Worker in-running at a greater price than the BSP as he usually drops out and will make for an easier lay back if you can get matched bigger early in the race.

5.40 Doncaster, Reet Thicknstrong and Monarch Maid look the speed in this sprint, their prices will be around 15.0 and 8.0 respectively so you could tray a back-to-lay with both.

6.10 Doncaster, If Tweety Pie can lead this 6 furlong event then it should avail a back-to-lay.  Traditionelle has run well at Doncaster and will be looking to come late so you can also try a back-to-lay with this one.

7.15 Hamilton, Ingenti, if running his race should mantain a prominent position to allow a back-to-lay.

7.45 Hamilton, Gran Canaria Queen looks one of the best opportunities of the day. She races up with the pace and travels well but the rise up the weights may be enough to stop her from winning so dependent on the price you can either try a back-to-lay or if too short try an in-running lay at 1.5 if she does end up trading low in-running.

8.00 Lingfield, Men Dont Cry has been in great form recently and was unlucky last time at Pontefract when not getting a clear run.  He will be a short price so it could be worth looking to lay in-running around 1.4.

2.10 Newmarket, Ticking Katie looks a great back-to-lay who ran well over course and distance several runs back, she will be around 10.0.

4.15 Thirsk, Native Falls will be hoping to lead in this 7 furlong event. He had been in good form prior to his last run but hopefully that was just a blip and will hopefully run a good race and trade low enough for a back-to-lay.
