Demora, Hamza and Hay Chewed look good selections to lead
the sprint at Goodwood for back-to-lays.
All three are drawn close together in 1, 3 and 7 and are sure to set are
ferocious pace and look to set it up for something to come from behind. Kingsgate Native is drawn in stall 2 and
usually travels well and may well profit from the speed in front to challenge
in the final furlong if he’s on one of his going days.
J Wonder must have a great chance in the 16:40 at Goodwood
for a back-to-lay, she’s been tried at the highest level and comes here with a
penalty for a group 3 win as she drops down to group 3 level again. Muteela
will most likely lead from the front as the current favourite and it might be
worth looking to take her on with an in-running lay around 1.5 as she’s up
against stiffer opposition this time.
On Appro looks a great back-to-lay, in the 18:45 at
Musselburgh. She will most likely lead the field along and currently trading
around 12.0 so you can lay back at half or try and pinch a bit more.
