‘Dr Irv’ looks to have ideal conditions to run well and likely
win in the 4:00 at Catterick – he currently trades around the 3.5 mark and
could be layed back around the even money mark with also profit should the
selection win.
Over at Naas in the 18:30 ‘Colour Blue’ has great trading
potential and can be expected to travel well, especially against a horse like Calibrate
who would probably struggle in this sprint contest. She was beaten at 1.01 by Aiden O’Briens
Wonderfully last year in a maiden, she is currently trading around 3.5, you could
look to lay off at half those odds or possibly shorter.
‘Laviniad’ could well start around 6.0 mark and has chances
to trade really short and go odds-on if things go his way. He ran well last time in handicap company but
found trouble in-running and traded odds-on after going off at 8.99 on BSP. With similar conditions today it could well
pay-off to chance a really short in-running trade for a big return.
‘Zambeasy’ will be a big price for the 19:20 at Kempton,
possibly around the 40.0 mark. He
returns to the all-weather after a couple of runs on turf in which he led in
his penultimate race until the final furlong off today’s handicap mark. He has
gone off at large odds and traded very short before so it could be worthwhile
chancing another short trade or possibly split stakes at different levels.
‘Alpine flower’ makes lots of appeal now back on better
ground. She had a couple of runs on soft
ground and really struggled so with this step up in distance on better ground it
could see her come in to the race late on and look a likely winner if she runs her
usual race. She currently trades around
the 7.8 mark.
You can either look to back these selections before the race and to lay off in-running to make a profit or just lay them in running which could cost you a lot if they win. Check out today's ratings and results of previous selections on http://www.winningwarlock.com
Yesterday only three of the five lays traded to the ranges expected but still a profitable day.
ReplyDeleteDr Irv ran his usual race but just found the front running Sir Frank Morgan too hard to peg back and just failed to reach the lay price of 2.0 when trading down to 2.14. Zambeasy was only traded down to 14 from its BSP of 17.49 but he never settled early and pulling hard and so would have put off any backers of this horse.
Laviniad and Alpine Flower looked the best chances of the day and duly obliged. Laviniad traded as low as 2.02 as he made a move late on before fading late in to third, this horse went off at 4.08 on BSP having traded earlier in the day around 6.0 so made for a comfortable lay. Alpine Flower traded below 4.0 in the 15:30 at Catterick, she was always just behind the leaders before fading two furlongs out. She started at 16.61 on BSP and was able to lay off at split stakes at 6 and 4 for a little more profit.
Colour Blue traded odds-on allowing for a lay at double the stake having started at 4.1 on BSP.
