Today’s best in-running lay looks
to lie with ‘Pethers Moon’ who contests a hot looking race in the 2:40 at
Newmarket. This horse has been running consistently
of late, races up with the pace and finishes his races off well so offers a
great opportunity for an in-running lay at half the BSP, he currently trades
around the 12.0 mark. ‘Excellent Result’
runs in the same race but with a penalty and the first run of the season it has
a lot going against it so it is best to avoid this one even though he is four
stars rated.
‘Hartnell’ runs in the 1:40 at
Newmarket and always travels strongly just behind the pace-setters so should
trade low in running for a back-to-lay. He currently trades around the 5.7 mark
so offers enough room to possibly trade using split stakes around 2.0 and 4.0
mark if you’re feeling adventurous. The
horse has won four of its nine runs so far and twice traded at less the 20% of
BSP and once at less than 10%.
Just two selections today, but

The racing at Newmarket really seemed to suit front-runners with horses getting to the front grinding out wins so not great for trading.
ReplyDeleteCavarlyman was really suited by the downpour and was not to be passed making all the running. Pethers Moon travelled well and finished third but making progress too late to trade low enough.
Hartnell won his race so afforded an in-running trade for a profit.
