'Tap dancing' will be odds on and it will probably take up the running so you could lay off for a small profit but the short price does not give you much room to manoeuvre.
'Kiss The Stars' runs in the 15.05 at Fairyhouse and his sprinter travels well in her races and is another great opportunity to double up – will be around 8.0 so you can lay off at 4.0.
'Bollin Line' steps up to 3 miles for the first time and has a great in-running record having traded below 50% of his BSP in all but one race but that was his only try on soft ground. This looks a strong back-to-lay, he should go off around 20.0 so you can lay off at 10.0 to double up.
'Temple Lord' looks one of the best opportunities of the day. This horse consistently trades low and with the going and trip perfect for him this looks another good chance to lay off possibly using split stakes as he can trade very short and doesn’t win very often (2 from 26 in chases).
'Larteta' races prominently and should go off around 6.8 so a lay back at half that price is in order – he gets a 7lb pull from A Tail of Intrigue for a 3 length beating last time.
'Apache Prince' has been running in better races than this, travelling well just behind the leaders so should allow for a double up trade around 3.8 and to cover the win to lay back at 2.0.
'Dr Maloney' has traded below 50% of his BSP in all his runs 7 runs to date and this looks another good opportunity despite an absence of over a year, back at 7.0 and lay at 3.5.
'Flogarose' has a great in-running record but would possibly be better over further and not proven on faster ground so best to avoid this time. The same would apply to 'Glenn Na Ndochais' who has been running over further so may struggle on this quicker ground so it may be best to leave this one as well.
Dr Maloney travelled well throughout behind at the back of the pack before taking the lead two out and held on for the win despite a break of over 400 days for a double up.
ReplyDeleteLarteta was another winner; she hit a flat spot going down the back straight before coming back on the bridle and then kicking on in the straight to make another lay at half the odds for another stake double up.
Kiss The Stars travelled well just behind the leader and came through to lead approaching the final furlong and was just out-battled. She went off at 12.0 on BSP and traded all the way down to 1.24.
Bollin Line just managed to trade down to 10.0 having been backed at 21.0 on Betfair though a little behind his BSP of 17.5 being supported late on in the betting.
Apache Prince traded to a low of 1.42 having gone off at 3.3 BSP.
