‘Shore Step’ offers a great
opportunity for an in-running trade in 16:50 at Ascot. He has run twelve times and has traded at
less than half his BSP in every race with just two wins. This looks a confident
back-to-lay at half the BSP price, he currently trades at 17.0.
‘Peterkin’ should be able lead and
dominate in the 19:15, a 5 furlong sprint at Chester. He’s currently trading around the 2.3 mark so
there’s not a great room for manoeuvre but a short lay that also covers a win
would be possible around the 1.5 mark or possibly slightly lower.
‘Merchant of Medici’ has an
history trading really short and could be worth a speculative shot at a low
trade at 20% of the BSP, he will probably start around 30.0 so a lay at 6.0
could be worth a shot. ‘Red Warrior’ also runs in the same race and has a
similar in-running profile so it could be worth playing this one the same.
‘Imperial Legend’ runs in the
16.05 at York but is on an high mark is not running as consistently as he was
so is best avoided.
Some great results from the days in-running selections
ReplyDelete‘Imperial Legend’ ran a great race and traded as low as 3.9 after starting at 27.0 on BSP, he cruised up to lead a couple of furlongs out and just got swallowed up in the last half furlong. This was picked out on the website but I originally didn’t think it was a great opportunity.
In the 16:40 at York Red Warrior failed to produce but Merchant of Medici (pictured above: centre, light blue and white colours) ran a huge race and traded as low as 2.30 having gone off at 44.31 on BSP which made for a really profitable short price lay on this long-shot.
Shore Step looked the best back-to-lay of the day and was matched at half BSP after the first furlong after getting to the lead and stayed there all the way to win the race.
Peterkin was matched in-running only seconds after the gates opened with his blazing early speed and held on to win the race. He ended up going off at 1.91 on BSP but was available at odds against before the off and was an easy trade out at 1.4.
Hi Empress ran no sort of race, having fluffed the start she found herself too far back to make any impact on the race and so only traded as low as 3.65
